What was I thinking, when I decided to tack on an additional (cardio) workout in this crazy heat?! 😱🔥💀 LOL
In all honesty, it did feel good and I’m so thankful my cardio endurance is almost back to where it used to be. I just had to be a bit dramatic. Why not?! LOL
It hasn’t been easy, I’m not gonna lie 😣 this whole year I have struggled with nutrition (when it had become second nature for me, in the past) but I knew I wouldn’t allow myself to fully adjust to former bad habits.
It has literally been about focusing (daily) on all my goals and trying new things to ensure I achieve them. Some days are rough, of course…but I will be persistent! Thank you for your support everyone and know I’m here for you, too 😘

On a serious note, how often do you find yourself thinking about your past and sometimes being held back by it?! Sometimes I still see the same person I was, making the same mistakes I used to make…which could potentially take me back to square one. I know I’m human and I have to continue learning and realize it will never become “easy.” Life presents challenges and I must continually become stronger each day.
Bottom line: I was unhealthy for so long and that’s not who I am anymore. I was unhealthy for a reason: to be grateful for this second chance at life/health and to show people they can do it, too! Now that I realize this, I need to STFU and move on! Lol ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
